Our large kitchen area is a highly valued resource among our clients. Tuesday Group Lunches are always a hit!
Group Lunch offers clients the opportunity to develop their independence through hands-on experience in food preparation and cooking. ​ Participants are encouraged to engage with meal planning, cooking, and serving, which not only fosters their culinary skills but also enhances their proficiency in money management and portion control.
Group Lunches also provides a platform for practising essential social skills in a supportive environment.
Our large community area at The BASE is stocked with a wide range of much-loved art and craft supplies, making our Friday art group a firm favourite among participants!

These weekly sessions give individuals the freedom to explore their creativity through a variety of mediums and artistic styles. They provide an opportunity to develop fine motor skills, express emotions, and build confidence in a relaxed and supportive environment. More than just art, the group also encourages social connection, allowing participants to engage, share, and enjoy the creative process together.​
