Meet our friendly team of
The FlexiChoice Board members bring a diverse range of skills and knowledge to lead the governance and strategic direction of the organisation.
Deb grew up in Cairns and moved to Mareeba approximately 30 years ago. Her time in Mareeba is busily spent as an owner/operator of a commercial mango farm where she is heavily involved administratively, which includes quality insurance. She has a range of experience in pharmacy, banking and first aid training. She was a board member of FNQ Growers, a leading advocacy group for fruit and vegetable growers across Far North Queensland. Deb holds FlexiChoice close to her heart as she has seen the positive impact we have made to family member’s life.
Russell has lived in Mareeba for approximately 8 years. With a keen interest in art, he studied visual arts at TAFE and is a member of the Mareeba Art Society. His passion and dedication has led to him volunteering at our weekly art group, assisting with the skill development of our participants. This contributed to a very successful art exhibition held in November 2019. With the implementation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Russell developed a further interest in the organisation, leading him to the position of Vice President.
Franca is a well known Mareeba local helping run the family owned farm along side her husband and father in law and is a proud mother of two beautiful teenage kids.
